Dates & Times:
The Fall Semester runs from September 4 – December 21, and webinars are scheduled on Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 12-3 pm EST.
Webinars are typically 1 hour in length, including Q&A. This Fall, we’re also piloting 30 minute “Lunch & Learn” webinars, which will give presenters the opportunity to share pro tips, success stories, or expand on a lightning talk.
Compensation:
All presenters will receive an honourarium for their session.
Tech Requirements:
Webinars and courses are conducted via Adobe Connect. All that’s required is a web browser, a reliable internet connection, and a USB headset with a microphone (if you have one). We’ll conduct a run through in advance to ensure you’re all prepared. You can learn more about tech requirements on our Information for Presenters page.
About the Education Institute:
The Education Institute is a continuing education program for library & information workers developed by The Partnership of Provincial and Territorial Library Associations of Canada. The program offers offers a wide variety of webinars and online courses, with topics spanning all sectors of the library & information profession. Provincial and territorial library associations receive monetary compensation for each registrant from their particular organization on a quarterly basis.
